| This artisan is best described as an importer and designer of British and Dutch Colonial Plantation furniture and travel accessories from the East and West Indies. Originally gracing 19th century verandas and grand estates of the planter, their fine furnishings now bring the romance of the African Savannah and the tradewinds of Barbados into your home. Individually handcrafted out of teak, mahogany, rattan, seagrass and leather, their furniture reflects the rich culture of both the native people and the British and Dutch who colonized the archipelagos from the late 1600s. In hopes of inspiring the imaginations of little ones, this artisan also offers toys inspired by safari adventures in the savannah. |
